Charlotte Sexton

Charlotte Sexton
Charlotte Sexton has become one of four invitees to train alongside the 2026-27 Diamonds squad ahead of the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow in July and the Constellation Cup against New Zealand in October, as the Diamonds build towards a major international window – which includes a home Netball World Cup in Sydney in 2027 - and continue to develop depth across the program.

The young, Bendigo-born talent gained her first opportunity in the senior environment following a strong domestic campaign. Sexton is another player who has demonstrated a meteoric rise since crossing over to the Mavs’ environment ahead of the 2026 season, being promoted from Training Partner to 11th Player to Permanent Replacement Player in the Mavs’ match day squad of 10.

“It was so surreal to me,” Sexton said, “but I’m so grateful for the opportunities I’ve had this year and the support from Mavs in getting me to that position, as it wouldn’t have been possible for their belief in me.”
