Melbourne Mavericks goaler, Eleanor Cardwell, recently underwent minor surgery on her left knee, after aggravating an injury during the recent series between the Australian Diamonds and England Roses.
Cardwell is recovering well, and is now focussed on her rehabilitation program. She is expected to be able to return to playing in early 2025.
“I’m thankful that the surgery went well, and am looking forward to getting stuck into my rehab and getting back on court as soon as possible,” Cardwell said.
The Melbourne Mavericks will provide further updates as Cardwell’s rehabilitation progresses.
The Mavericks’ pre-season will commence in November.
