The Melbourne Mavericks have announced their match day squad of 10 to face the Giants at John Cain Arena on Sunday afternoon:

Uneeq Palavi remains in the match day squad of 10 as a Temporary Replacement Player for Eleanor Cardwell.
Sasha Glasgow will not play this week, after experiencing calf tightness late in last week’s clash with the Swifts. Due to her injury history, the team have opted to take an extra-cautious approach, which – due to the split round – will give her a full three weeks before her next game.
Glasgow will be replaced in the game day squad by Mavs reserves athlete, Sacha McDonald, as a Temporary Replacement Player. McDonald has previously been a squad member with the Melbourne Vixens, before moving to England to take up further opportunities with the London Pulse in the Netball Super League.
Should McDonald take to the court on Sunday, she will become Mav #17.
Unfortunately, due to previous injuries that have flared up over the past couple of weeks, Nyah Allen has been unable to train, and therefore was unavailable for selection this week.
