The Melbourne Mavericks will host the Giants at John Cain Arena in Round 7 of the 2024 SSN season.
First Nations Round
Mavericks and Giants players, coaches and support staff will come together for a special Welcome To Country and dance performance pre-game. We encourage all fans to be in their seats by 1:30 PM so you don’t miss a thing!
The players will be welcomed on to our with a special guard of honour with students from the Melbourne Indigenous Transition School.
Our First Nations Dress Designer, Bayley Mifsud will join us on court at 1:40 PM to talk to us about our inaugural FNR Dress which we’ll wear this weekend and Round 13.
Fitzroy Stars Netball Club U9 Grassroots players, Indianna Bastwo-Goninon and Karmai Cook will deliver our match-day ball.

SENSORY ROOM
Melbourne & Olympic Parks (M&OP) has partnered with leading not-for-profit KultureCity to ensure all events held at the precinct are sensory-inclusive.
The sensory room is located on Level 3 via Lift 1, and you do not need to book ahead.
GETTING TO THE GAME
Public transport is the quickest and easiest option. Before you attend, plan ahead and allow extra travel time for any major disruptions.
The precinct is a 10-minute walk from the CBD via Birrarung Marr or the Tanderrum Bridge.
Trains, trams and buses operate frequently, dropping you right at the door of the precinct.
Parking is available at the Eastern Plaza Car Park (Entrance D, Olympic Boulevard). We strongly recommend pre-booking; drive-up spaces are subject to availability. Bookings close at midnight the night before the event.
