The Melbourne Mavericks have secured HCF as their Official Health Insurance Partner for the next two seasons, marking a significant commercial addition for the club.
The partnership forms part of HCF’s broader commitment to netball, with the Mavs completing the health fund’s presence across the entire Suncorp Super Netball league.
For the Mavs, the deal continues the club’s early commercial momentum, aligning with a partner focused on health, performance and community impact.
Mavs General Manager, Shae Bolton-Brown, said the partnership was a strong addition for the club.
“We’re excited to welcome HCF to the Mavs family,” Bolton-Brown said.
“This is an important partnership for our club and a strong endorsement of the momentum we’re building both on and off the court.
“HCF’s commitment to health and women’s sport aligns closely with our vision, and we’re looking forward to delivering real impact together.”
The partnership will extend across match day, digital platforms, social channels and broadcast integration, delivering a consistent presence across the Mavs’ fan ecosystem.
The HCF Team Health Score™ will also be integrated into Mavs content throughout the season, including across social platforms and within a new-look centre court program, with the HCF Team Health Score™ Moments that Mattered.
HCF Chief Executive Officer, Lorraine Thomas, said netball’s reach made it a powerful platform to drive meaningful health outcomes.
“Netball is the number one participation sport for girls in Australia, and that reach gives this partnership genuine purpose,” Thomas said.
“This collaboration will focus on promoting health and wellbeing throughout the season, with initiatives highlighting athlete preparation, performance and the realities of balancing elite sport with everyday life.”
The Mavs will next take to the court this Saturday, March 28, when they take on the Melbourne Vixens in a blockbuster Melbourne Derby at John Cain Arena.
