The Melbourne Mavericks will host the NSW Swifts this Saturday, May 2, in their Round 8 2026 Suncorp Super Netball (SSN) clash at John Cain Arena.
The match will also serve as what has now become the club’s annual Orange Game; a powerful initiative to raise awareness and support for victim-survivors of family and domestic violence.
Thanks to the Mavs’ Official Foundation Partner, Lumo Energy, the two organisations will be working with RizeUp Australia, using this weekend’s match to shine a light on the urgent need for practical, immediate support for those escaping violence.
The Orange Game is more than just a match; it’s a movement. On game day, attendees can also bring new and essential toiletry and laundry items to the RizeUp Donation Zone at John Cain Arena. These items will go directly to RizeUp’s Homes Program, which furnishes safe and comfortable spaces for individuals and families starting over. Where possible, fans are also encouraged to make a monetary donation to help those affected and in need, here.
The Mavs will also be showing their support on-court by wearing orange playing bibs.

The first centre pass between the Mavs and the Swifts will be at 5pm AEST, with doors at John Cain Arena opening from 3.30pm AEST so fans can start dropping off their donations.
