With just three home games remaining in the regular 2025 Suncorp Super Netball (SSN) season, the Melbourne Mavericks are excited to launch their ‘Kids Go Free’ initiative.
Children under the age of 14 will be eligible for free tickets in the general admission area to the following home games:
Round 7 – Sunday 25 May v Adelaide Thunderbirds
Round 10 – Saturday 14 June v West Coast Fever
Round 12 – Saturday 28 June v NSW Swifts
With the rising cost of living, the Mavs are proud to give back to their community by creating an opportunity for affordable family-friendly entertainment. This is the chance for the next generation of netballers to see the Mavs live – whether it’s a day out with friends or family, they get to see their heroes live on the big stage.
The 'Kids Go Free' initiative kicks off with an important match this Sunday against the Adelaide Thunderbirds, as the Mavs aim for back-to-back wins to keep their finals hopes alive. Currently sitting fifth on the ladder - and with the Thunderbirds ranked fourth - a win this weekend could push them into the top four.
This season has already been memorable, and the Mavs want you with them every step. Bring your family and friends to fill the stands and cheer the Mavs on to more victories.
Melbourne Mavericks General Manager, Shae Bolton-Brown, spoke on the importance of this initiative.
“We understand it can be challenging to bring the whole family to sporting events due to the rising cost of living. This is our way of saying thank you to our community - we hope to see plenty of kids in the crowd cheering on their idols over our next three home matches,” said Bolton-Brown.
Kids free tickets for the remaining Mavs home games still need to be secured through Ticketek (no discount code required!)
