The second edition of the Lumo Community Classic takes place tomorrow at John Cain Arena, giving junior netballers a once in a lifetime opportunity to take the court at the Melbourne Mavericks’ home venue, just hours before the Mavs themselves take to the court for their Round 8 Suncorp Super Netball (SSN) clash with the NSW Swifts.
Following the success of last year’s inaugural event, the Lumo Community Classic has returned bigger and better in 2026, once again putting the spotlight on community netball, with teams from across Melbourne set to play on one of the sport’s biggest stages in conjunction with three Mavs’ home games.
For friends and family who are unable to attend in person, the Mavs will live stream the tomorrow’s (Saturday 2 May) entire event for free, allowing supporters to tune in and watch every match from anywhere.
