Sacha McDonald

Sacha McDonald is a true Maverick, stepping into the role of the inaugural Mavericks Reserves Squad in 2025, before being elevated to a fully contracted player for the Melbourne Mavericks' 2026 SSN season.

No stranger to the SSN world, Sacha played with the Melbourne Vixens as a Training Partner from 2019-2021.

Sacha has also been a formidable opponent within the Victorian Netball League (VNL), taking the court as a formidable player for Casey Demons.
With a year of international netball under her belt with the London Pulse in the Netball Super League (NSL) in 2022, Sacha’s expertise and versatility is undeniable.

As a freshly elevated Mav, we hope to see the inaugural 2025 Reserves Player of the Year make her SSN debut in 2026.
