Richo is a Maverick in name and in nature - not only did she win gold at the 2002 Commonwealth Games as a member of the Australian Diamonds, she also went to the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta, where she was a part of Australia’s bronze medal-winning softball team.
Outside of wearing the green and gold, Richo played seven seasons with the Melbourne Kestrels in the then national league; the Commonwealth Bank Trophy. She captained the team from 2000 until 2003, when she retired from playing.
Not parting from netball at all, Richo went from playing into coaching, coaching Victorian U17, U19 and U21 representative teams.
Richo was then Assistant Coach at Suncorp Super Netball teams, West Coast Fever and Collingwood Magpies, before being appointed Head Coach of the Magpies in 2021.
Now part of a formidable coaching due with Tracey, this pair are iconic both on and off the court, ensuring the Mavs are ready to Fly in 2025.
